Why is there ad's to buy lock picks and other stuff??
I'd say 90%+ of the people who buy these are going to use them to break an entry. WE should be trying to reduce crime here not enhance it.
Btw UWSDWF, I live in Grise Fiord, Nunavut and its about 1000km northwest of Iqaluit and there is no locksmithes near this area.

alot of parts of the world do not requrie licencing... for example you could never get a lockpick licence in ontario as it doesn't exist.... so what should I do? move to a different part of the world that requires licences? that seems unpractical

I'm a bit annoyed.
I would absolutely understand it if another mod or if an admin decided to reopen this, but I'm locking it for now.
The ads are targeted, and relevant. We are extraordinarily cautious to the point of evangelical in this community about the responsibilities that go along with locksport.
Also - it's obvious by the addendum to your first post that you are simply reposting in order to bait one of our members.
as Uncle Joey would say

It's clear to me that this guy is just here to cause problems. This "problem" has been taken care of now.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!
