Okay, this is the most related thread I could find regarding my question...

A quick pass on the net looking for videos of pickers doing their thing only produced two things.

1) People who managed to rake open a lock (either lightning fast or in a few passes)

2) People who were tearing at the pins with a feeler pick like they thought their hand was an electric pick.

What I want to know is am I right in thinking that this is improper technique? I had assumed that one should move the feeler slowly in order to feel when you managed to make a set.

Come on you lot. This was going well, with the amount of excitement about defcon and the dutch open i would have though more of you would have wanted to show off.

And don't think because you are new here you cant add your times. feel free its always nice to see enthusiasm from the start of joining. No one will make some of your times. we all started off spending hours poking about in a lock and this is a lock picking community after all.
