Basically when I turn the key in it, it rotates 180 degrees and then during the next 180degrees pulls the metal block thing that blocks the door froom opening.
(Im afraid I dont have much knowlege of terms so sorry if I should have been able to find posts elsewhere but I failed to find anything. )
Also once the key turned about 45 degrees from the starting position it obviously catches on something before freely rotating until it starts pulling that metal shaft back thus opening the lock.
Now, when I pick it. I successfully get the pins in the right place to turn the lock plug but it doesnt catch at 45 degrees and then just rotates all the way around until it gets back where it started, still locked :\
I took the lock to bits as much as I could, i removed the actual key bit, the shaft with the keyhole on one side and the bit on the other that a person can use to lock it without a key small handle that rotates.
I cant see anyway to open it up further to look at pins and the mechanism.
So yea, if anyone could even tell me what the proper terms are then id beable to look up details far easier.
I can get pictures of the lock if it will help.
thanks guys
