Glass plate cracked ?

Postby Mintsauce » 14 Jul 2004 16:59

back to this chick in the italian job (Mmm i would !!) anyway, i dont pretend to know a lot about safes but, this glass plate that holds the relockers back by spring pressure, surely this would be toughened glass (i.e tempered / heat treated) so it wouldnt be possible to just crack it, one snatch with the drill bit and hey presto, thousands of ickle bits of glass !! Then you'd be buggered !!.. litterally..

Still, hey i aint no expert, but thought i'd put that one out there..

Great site, gonna get square eyes, all this sitting up till late reading..

Byeee.

that said - it IS possible to 'crack' safety glass, but its infinately unlikely.
The meaning of life, the universe and everything is 42.

Inflation however, may have changed this.
