I've never had any problems with a Kwikset deadbolt except for one. It looked like a cheapy and I don't know if it was the keying or what but it took me about 30 minutes to get into it. I think maybe the locksmith who installed it put some barrel pins in or something because I got it to false set about 100 times before I finally figured it out. Most Kwiksets I've never seen before fall to me in under 30 seconds.
