lock pick sets

I have this Southord set at 5 year : http://www.lockpicks.com/slim-line-sout ... 10.aspxand

I use them for fun but also in my workplace. My most preferable pick is snake for pin tumbler lock and half diamond and ball for wafer locks.
This set is made from quality stainless steel and in normal usage is virtually indestructible.
Highly recommended :)

SouthOrd is a good beginner brand IMO. I have two SO slimline tools in my pickset for locks with very small keyways but I prefer Peterson and HPC for most locks. They're built stronger than SO picks.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

Product reviews from someone whose favourite pick is the snake... ok

I have a set of their slimlines and honestly can't complain. Nice and comfy, feedback is good... they're easy to bend but if you know what you're doing that shouldn't be an issue. I have other picks I switch to when I need extra pressure, so the SO's have lasted a couple of years so far.
