I'm pretty new here, only my 2nd proper post and I'm new to picking as well. I got my first set of picks (Southord 9 piece slimline) in the post last night and with a streak of beginners luck managed to pick a 5 pin euro lock.
Anyway, at work today I was looking at one of our spare laptops locked to the desk with a Kensington 3 wheel combination lock (wheel??) and thought I'd have a little play. I applied a small amount of pressure and rotated each wheel, it was so absolutely obvious when each wheel was clicking into place that it took all of 20 seconds to have it open (in case it's not obvious I did not know the code!!). Have I stumbled across more beginners lock or are they all that "simple"? I work in a role related to security and penetration testing and our company owns hundreds of these locks - not good!!
Thanks
