Picking with pins on bottom

Postby Daggers » 16 Dec 2011 7:44

the lock that i practice on has the pins on the bottom not the top so when they are set, the pins are not just hanging there by gravity. They still have a little bit of a spring to them, but i don't know how they have springiness when set. Is it harder to pick this type of lock than one with pins on the top? And the lock is mounted on a door (my own, so no issues on legality there) so I know it's the right side up.

Use the Search young Jedi. We can't hand feed you every answer, it wouldn't be right, and won't feel as good as finding the answer out for yourself through practice and reading the old forum posts.

read and read and read and read, then post questions.

The information you seek is all here and has been asked before.
