Lauren, thanks for the decode method. I had a co-worker buy one of these locks, and did something that reset the combination. Once he gave me the lock, i began the process. Appreciate your help

here is a video of the dis assembly of the 1590d

If you're going to copy intellectual property on a public video, you need to give credit to the inventor. Now, you open the flood gates for every hacker to copy you. And, I would say the same to them, if they copied my video. I have no problem with you saying, "I need to give credit to Lauren from Lockpicking101 as the inventor of the tool and method."
You sort of made mention of it, but it's like doing a research paper without giving exact credit to your sources.

Nice video.

I'm having issues with this new 1500iD

The factory combo of RIGHT RIGHT UP UP is not working for me each and every time I enter it.

How hard or often do i have to hit the shackle to reset the wheels? It is not very repeatable.

In theory you have to hit the shackle swiftly 2 times in a row. With not too much force just to make it touch the "bottom".

I have the same thing! So weird! Or very similar... I dial the same combo and sometimes it opens sometimes it does not... Very strange and indeed hard to repeat.
That is why I don't use it on my gym locker. I mean I would want a strange malfunction there.

My first theory was that maybe I don't push the middle part all the way, and that causes it, but since then I am paying a lot of attention to dial and reset properly but it still sometimes won't open...

I'm curious if someone has an explanation or solution :)
To infinity... and beyond!

The Master Speed Dial needs to have the shackle shoved down twice to reset it. Do not know if it is the same with the 1500iD
