Spool pins for rekeying practice cylinders!

I try not advertise for other companies, but since I tend to be cheap in my hobbies, I look to the least expensive places to buy things.

CLK Locksmithing has "Universal Spool Pins" which are the standard .115" diameter for less than what is available on eBay. They come in various lengths... Since I plan to pin up some Kwikset and Schlage practice locks, I selected .200" length. I'm not certain that's the proper driver pin length for either, but I suspect it should work.

Do cylinders need any special springs for spool type drivers? I see that companies are also selling longer and shorter cylinder springs.

No need for special springs with spool pins. The springs lengths usually are for different cylinder types, though I sometimes use different spring lengths to give different spring strengths and return rates, which makes bumping a bit more difficult.
