Help needed please

I have bought a picking set i am new at this and manged to pick a small tri circle lock now im loosing my cool cause i hasle to pick a 5 pin tumbler lock and a 5 pin cylender lock i seem to push te pins to deep and i hasle with racking and picking pin by pin is there a trick to it please help

He wasnt complaining, i think he just couldnt understand what hasle means, even i dont Read the MIT guide to lockpicking and read the scrubbing section and read the illustrated secrets to lockpicking which discuss's single pin picking pin tumblers, that should shead some light on what you are looking for.

Well I see what you are saying and my suggestion would be to use less force when turning the tension wrench, also what is teh word "hasle" because i think my suggestion might be wrong due to the word "hasle"

I believe he means "hassle," which is to say he's having a hard time with it.

Gambit, I don't think anyone here is making fun of your English skills. It might be worth taking alittle extra time on your posts, though, so that we can all understand a bit better. Also, check out the FAQ and MIT guide; your question (if I'm understanding it correctly) is answered there.

The M.I.T guide is the best place too get the info you require, it does sound like you could be using too much pressure on the pins and pushing them past the shear line. Also getting flustrated won't help as you use more pressure the more you get annoyed, put it down and come back to it and have another go when you have cooled down. You may be trying to pick a cylinder which has mushroom or spool pins which you will find very difficult if you are new to picking, go and buy yourself a real cheap cylinder which doesn't have this type of pin in it. You will find this a lot easier and once you have conquered these you can progress to more difficult cylinders. Hope this helps???

myself i like the MIT and the Crypto notes, and i suggest reading them both. But if you re-reply with a little extra explanation and more time explaining what exactly is going wrong and what you mean by it "goes to Deep" I could probably help you more with your lock, maybe i can help you
