Nice video man... yea i agree with you master locks.. for other than practicing at the earliest stage of lockpicking are a complete waste of time. I have like 5 or six of them thre one 5 and diffrent kinds, they are all horrible. Master locks hieghts on all there keys arent the greatest and a good snowman rake of just about 8 seconds of pin pin picking if all they take.

There are some sponsors here that can/will help you. Also look at the search "buy lock picks". I hope this has helped in some way.

Nah you shouldn't feel that way, you might have a harder pin configuration. Several viewers of the video have asked to see the key. I actually don't have it, I was given the lock to practice by a friend who lost it. So the pin configuration might in fact be easy. Anyways good luck with yours.

Master locks

Postby fjardeson » 2 Apr 2006 17:21

Locked In: Yes, those four pin Masters are basically "keep the honest people out" locks, at least as far as picking goes. Want a challenge? Try a ProSeries Master. They have a five-pin cylinder with 9000 changes, and usually have a few spool pins. Those can be a real problem! They are also great practise locks because the cylinder is removable and rekeyable. 8)

Wow talk about manhandling a lock!! Maybe its just me but I dont use that much force to pick any lock. It may also just look like alot of force in the video.

In my haste to pick the lock and demonstrate the vulnerability of this particular type of Master Lock (not that this is news) it may have seemd that way, but the force is nowhere near the idealcreations level, and part of it might be due to the closeness of the camera (I have no zoom function), hence the disproportionate sound.
