I built a combination safe

Postby bumpit » 2 Jan 2007 3:53

I thought a few of you might be interested in a combination safe I built while I was in high school. I also fabricated the lock which was very difficult. It is the same concept as the inside of a Dudley lock. It uses washers that once are aligned inside the lock will let the bolt slide through. It is made from 1/2 steel and is fairly well made in my opinion. I bolted it to the floor and doubt anyone will be getting into it anytime soon. Probably easy to manipulate though but that’s for advanced forums. Enjoy.
Bumpit,
