Well, I picked a Ziess-Ikon with a seriously wicked keyway in 3 seconds, in front of a room full of people, in the final of the Dutch Open. :-) I didn't win, mind you. It took me 25 minutes to open the Pffenhiem. :-( And you only get 15! :x

Update

Postby LeeNo » 27 Nov 2007 20:29

Update: My Schlage repinnable didn't arrive today :( I was hoping to begin digital blue's exercises tonight. So, instead, I bought a Masterlock #5 and, as expected, I opened it on my first try. I am done buying garbage consumer-grade Masterlocks. They are crap. My #21 is still a delicate operation but the rest open if I so much as sneeze!

I apologize for the double-post. I forgot to add these and there is no edit feature.

I picked my office desk at work! WHOO-HOO! Cheap office furniture locks!
And I picked my mailbox at my apartment mailroom.

That's awesome on the Z-ikon, congrats! Wish I could have been there with you guys. And hey.. 25 is not a big deal, you still picked a Pfaffenhain!

and I'd like to add to my list while I'm here:

recently picked:

BEST 7 pin SFIC to the control shear. (using regular tension wrench)
Lockwood mortise cylinder 7 pin
Union 5 pin euro-profile cylinder given to me by JackNco. Thanks!
WB (Wilson Bohannan) brass padlock 5 pin

Cheap-donkey apartment mailbox lock[/quote]

please don't do this again. It's a federal offense. If it isn't your lock, even though you might have a key to it, it still belongs to your Apt landlord, or even possibly the local post office, and they have guys called Postal Inspectors, who don't really have a sense of humor when it comes to stuff like that.

If you want locks to pick, and I know its a rush to run around and pick everything you find.. Buy them at Home Depot or on eBay instead and practice in your living room, not downstairs at the apartment mailboxes.
