circlip

Postby raimundo » 7 Aug 2006 11:47

how does that symbol for euro currency go, I think the circlip that hes talking about is that type, if possible, look at the part that comes from the center of the circlip, this will ususally go into a hole in the plug. look at the side of the plug opposite that, does the hole come out? if so, find a pin punch or very hard flat ended wire that will go into that hole, and when it stops at the circlip hit it with a small hammer to drive the circlip back out of the hole, usually this type of clip does not have a reall strong grip on the cylinder, so it should start to drive the clip off the plug.

Depending on the keyboard setup on your machine you might be able to produce the symbol with [AltGR]+[E] keys pressed at the same time.
Due to financial limitations the light at the end of tunnel has been turned off until further notice.
