IF YOU PULL ON THE LOCKS AND TURN, IT GETS TRAP AT 2 OR 3 DIGITS INTERVALS THE NUMBER AT THE TWO ENDS OF THE TRAP IS THE MECHANASM NUMBERS AND IT TURNS OUT THERE ARE 20 NUMBERS ON THE DUDLEY LOCKS NOT 60.... AND THEY ARE MULTIPLE OF THREE FOR ALL DUDLEY LOCKS eg. 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30....57, AND 0
DON'T BELIEF ME TRY IT FOR YOURSELF
FOR EXAMPLE - LOCK COMB. ---- ACTUAL COMB.
25-5-17 24-6-18
44-22-27 45-21-27
56-35-44 57-36-45
TRY IT

TOTAL COMBINATION IS 20x20x20=8000 COMBs
IF YOU KNOW THE LAST NUMBER THAT NUMBER COME DOWN TO 400

THERE IS A PATTERN TO THE DUDLEY COMBINATION... THE SECOND NUMBER IS USUALLY TO THE LEFT (smaller) OF THE FIRST NUMBER
eg. FIRST NUMBER IS 30 THE 2ND NUBMER IS 0-30 (0,3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27) USUALLY

THE 3RD NUMBER IS THEN TO THE RIGHT (bigger) OF THE 2ND NUMBER

THERE IS A FAST MECHANISM TO OPEN A DUDLEY AND I WILL EXPLAIN IT LATER WHEN YOU ARE CONVINCE OF THE FACT THAT DUDLEY HAVE ONLY 20 NUMBERS NOT 60 NUMBERS

Ok, so how do I crack the combo? I have a dudley lock with me right now but I don't know the combo to it.

Call me an idiot, but is the dudley combo lock similar to the master combo lock?

Sorry 'bout that... I've been extremely busy these days. My inbox is also overflowing and email/forums aren't usually my top priority (sorry to disappoint!).

No, the combination is not 47-27-7. I can give you the combo if you want, or the half-answer is: 4-##-7. These aren't in those multiples of 3, but the proposed combination was so far off, it's many times the multiple of 3 so the end answer is NO. 8)

I haven't tried feeling for the 3 'stuck' numbers as you yank and turn. I'll have to try that as I have access to a few dead Dudleys in the Lost-and-Found at work (which nobody has picked up for months). 8)

Here's one: 15-5-25... and another: 12-47-23.

I owned both of these locks that I used outdoors. Over time they've rusted out and are now in the garbage. Atleast they lasted through winter! :)

hm, atleast I'm pretty sure those are the combinations... probably close enough anyway!

hehe, typo~ ^ anywho, it's just i wated to try out my theory and can't really do that with all the numbers given to me. My theory's complicated and doesn't work on a lot of locks so i'm trying to make up another. so if anyone has a dudley lock, could u post the first and last number of your combo?
