It's cool that you could pull that off, but you gotta be a little more carefull than that. If the lock ain't yours and you open it, it could prove to be a seroius problem, if not legal than at least it might piss of your buddies parents, not a good thing. Be a little more discreet with the picks, it'll keep you out of trouble.

Well, considering that these locks are to my friends cars (yes...theirs), and to their houses, there is no problem. And I am friends with all said people and their families. Trust me. If I thought that anyone would have a problem with this, I would not do it.

But like I said, I see no reason to be so secretive about my hobby. If anything I think that gives a worse light to lockpicking. I think if we are all so secretive, people will wonder what it is we have to hide.

I told his parents, and they thanked me, but I rarely carry my pick set on me, because it took a long time to make, and i really don't need them taken from me. I forgot, and honestly, i was so not expecting the door to open. I figured i helped, and it was rather cool. His parents were rather surprised. So, i helped, and i try to leave them at home.
