Its the old “the knife cuts both ways”.I think its good to know of vulnerability in locks ,doors and houses.The profession say keep it secret,i disagree why you say, simple who prevent the crook to get his son,wife or college to become a licensed all knowing locksmith ? And now some rant about people keep buying that crap,yes because most people do not read,believe commercials or are advised by professionals who only think where do I grab the most profit.Other problem is that price is no guaranty for quality ! And as much crap is made in china and just re branded,its good to read about its problems and that not just for locks !
