but i think the saw blade cost less than a wiper blade :P

Yes but people usually throw away wiper blades when they get old. You can take these old blades and take out the strip of metal in it to make tools.

Probabily the wiper is made of a stronger material... I really have to try it because I never made any resistant tensioner from hacksaw blades. They all broke easily.

By the way, I'll try to go go and find some on a junk yard!

That's actually a great place to find wiper blades that I didn't think of! Thanks! :)

i just asked that question
i got answer
they go to place called "Romula"
it is place where are all old cars..
if u go there u can sell your shitty car for low price and they buy
and u can buy parts of car from those shitty cars that have been taken to there..
so if i want a wiper blade i have to buy it from there :P
i cant walk there and just look around i think

There you go! If they charge you at all, it will probably be a very small price for a handful of them!

Go to an oil changing place. I used to work at one. They throw away tons of them. I'm sure they would just give them to you.
There's no replacement for displacement.

I definetly love hacksaw blade picks and blow torch twisted wrenchs. This, for me, is the easiest material to get and seems to be the strongest. Of all the picks I made not one has broke so far and I use them alot.

:!:

I didn't think of that, either! I think I'll stop by the local Jiffy Lube to see what they do with them.

couple things. first of all, for the post from the cat that said that the wiper blade inserts are too small, try using a truck w/w blade. Preferably one from a 28' blade. Those are plenty thick enough for anything that you will encounter. Second. The best place that I know to find them is any auto-zone or equivalent auto parts store. Wait until either it is raining, or just rained the day before. Drive up and the trash cans are litterally overflowing with them. if you can get past the whole "I look like a bum, digging in the trash can" sorta thing. I have never had ANY luck at all with street sweeper bristles. I have litterally only seen 1 in my whole life, and it was only about 2" long. Lastly, the oil change place. If you go in there, chances are they wont have any sitting around. However, if you go in and talk to any lube monkey.(no offense, thats how I got through college) and tell them that if they save them and pull out the inserts, that you will pay them 10 bucks. I did this, came back in 2 weeks, and litterally got more than a hundred of the inserts. I gave the guy 20 bucks for the effort. Give it a try, the worst thing that they can say is no.
I hear what you are saying.....that doesn't mean I agree with you....Just that I am nodding my head to placate you and silence your futile attempts to win the argument.

Ok guys i am new but i worked construction for a long time (no i am not buff and tan...skinny and weak), bUT! i have the perfect material to use for a tension wrench that remarkably act exactly the same and my soulthord tension wrenchs. Ok first go to the dollar store and find a cheap set of head phones for a cd or tape player. Now only buy th eones with the spring steel bendie part that goes over your head. And vwala! there the perfect width.. maybe some grinding for smaller key ways. Anyhow this was my first method of making them adn its the best i have some across. Happy Picking Andy

Or a hose clamp.
Basically, anything made of spring steel.
There's no replacement for displacement.
