Yup sorry guys i hav enot been on here in a while i will ge those picks up i will use a standard SO hook as a scale.

Zeke really is a great picker.. no arse kissing inteneding, but really just watch his video and just concentrate ont he movements he does.

Thats how i learned, and you pop locks like nothing.. like said before not medecos, but its 100% reliable way to pick. And when you get really good practice trying to pick the lock with zero pin dust.

Pictures coming though sorry i got off topic there. I will maybe post some of my spares in the buy section, if you like what you see i will make 1or 2 for someone interested.

I will also show a pic of a proper way to have a tensioner in the lock, maybe obvious,

But i have been a reall arse in here for a while so i will offer some help to beginners.

Later guys...pics to come

Ok, I need some guidance here! ANY ONE! My schlage gives me more trouble then any of my locks I've picked! I can pick the R70's and other Brinks locks with security pins, no probs! But I've only been able to pick the schlage LIGHT DUTY only twice, and have not been able to pick it in 2 weeks!

What the heck am I doing wrong? Does it even have any security pins?
What makes this lock so hard for me?

thx

Re-pin it and start with 1 pin, then 2 and so on.

Without sitting with you and examining the lock itself we really can't tell you what the problem is.

Double check that you are using the proper amount of tension and that you can actually feel what is going on inside the lock, schlages are my most common practice lock and I've never found them to be too much trouble except that obviously the tolerances are tighter so its a lighter "feel" to the pins setting.

I'd still just start at 1pin and work your way up to learn how the pins feel in it, but really it shouldnt be any different than any other lock!

there should be no security pins in a Schlage Lock. at least not directly from the factory. supposedly the schlage has a tighter tolerance then the kwikset. kwiksets are easier to pick. because of the factory pins in it. not to mention both cylinders are different.

i recently went to lowes hardware and bought a schlage ultima deadbolt on the package it reads

B360N V 4 505 605
ULTIMA\BRIGHT
Maximim security deadbolt

cost me like $27 im pretty sure it was the cheapest schlage deadbolt there... i think...

at any rate it DID have spindle pins. 4 of them to be exact. i cant speak for any of the other schlage models as i havn't taken those apart.

I don't think there are any security pins in the standard light duty schlage.
