I damaged an Abus EC 550 while picking. The warding of the keyway gets extremly thin near the pin borings. I crushed this thin area during picking and the pin could not be raised completely anymore by the spring and got blocked. It took me 20 minutes, to realize, that the lock couldn't be picked any more at all. In the end, I drilled the retaining pin and redrilled the pin chamber.
