Hmm yeah it's really hard to tell... why would Jon King, a long time accomplished picker and inventor of the medecoder spend the time to code his own lockpicking game then say it's no good because oblivion is more realistic? Surely it's the other way around?! I'm like, sooooo confused... is there anything about how sarcasm works on that site too?

The lock in oblivion really reminds me of the ancient egyptian concept of a pin tumbler lock in terms of how the locking bolt moves and how it only has one pin per chamber. Kinda cool IMO...anyone else see that when they played through?

I noticed they have lockpicking in Fallout and its unrealistic but at least they have a tension wrench.
