To pick a Slot machine???

I had a little problem with my slot machine. The wife lost the keys. I asked Chucklz if he like to try to pick it and he said yes.

When Chucklz & company came in I told them I was going to get my camera. I was too late...


The lock was picked in seconds...


We removed the lock... This one is for the crapper...


Then they went after the reset lock...


Here is is...


We picked up a blank at Home Repot... and Chucklz started to make they key...


Who needs a stinking file when you have a dremel...


It WORKS!!!


I guess I needed a better lock??

I'm glad you got his lock off. When I first read the thread title, I thought this was going to be some sort of "How Do I Pick A Vending Machine" question.

Wow, that must be a really old machine. I haven't seen a tubular lock on one of those ever. Nothing but Abloy types and Medecos in all of the spam I've been in.

The tubular on it was an obvious modern replacement of a previous lock. The machine was great fun, lots of really interesting engineering inside (and a lot of fun to play). It was a 25c machine just to give you an idea of its age. I just admit that I used a dremel to help generate the wafer lock key. The file I had with me was one I only use for the lightest of work.

Well the dremel was sitting right there. By the way I found the lost lock part for the reset switch. It was on the ground outside the front door. I put it in a safe place and will install it on the lock.
