It's good to see you're trying Jason.
I find just putting some time by where I can clear my head helps a lot. If I have a nagging feeling in the back of my head, telling me I should do something more important, then I do that, and then continue picking after. When I can focuss all your attention upon a lock then I find I have more success.
Just sit down and pick the lock for say 30 mins, and if you start getting annoyed, then sit bck and smile. Most people don't smile enough, and go their entire lives with some kind of CIA agent poker-face. Make yourself smile, and find something to be happy about. Once you're calm and happy again, then start picking. I find being calm is usefull when trying a new lock that is hard.
I can't guarantee this will work, or if you'll even try it, but I thought I'd throw in some advice.
