I can't find the 805 either.

The 380 has 4 pins, none of which are security pins. The difficulty of this lock will depend entirely on the bitting. If you can post a picture of the key we might be able to give you more specific pointers. Other than that, check out the more general tutorials on this website. If you're just getting started, you might do well to pick up a cheap Kwikset or similar lock to start with instead as padlocks are more difficult to learn on.

Bud, use two things - a good hook pick you can use for long bittings and a halfway decent rake for those days when you just can't single pick the thing.

Eventually, you will wear it out enough that you can pop it in a couple seconds with the rake and the hook pick will feel like fingers on silk and do about the same.

Try to utilize a tension wrench that doesn't kludge things up badly - most probs with those locks has been that - they get in the way and you find out later, smack your forehead, and be annoyed.

After that, well, you'll have a solid understanding of how they work, how to quickly defeat them, and where you need to improve to actually figure the buggers out.

And I could well be wrong - so by all means take the advice of others here.

You'll get it, though. Keep improvising. It's not insurmountable - the best have been stumped by what you have in your hands. :)

hes right

hes right about the tensors, you can make a tapered blade tensor from some wiper stiffener that will work well in a lot of locks, be sure to sand the part of the blade that you file to a taper, because any roughness in the edges of the blade can cause it to dig into the cylinder wall and ground the tork uselessly.

We need more new tensor ideas, like different arrangements of the two point grip tensor. (wishbone) and a better version of the falle adjustable, one that has a quickrelease grip on it, possibly by make both parts tighten as they are set in place, picture a two part tensor that opens like a scissors on a pivot pin and when the two parts are aligned, the circular wedge washer (thin to thick as it goes around the diameter) tightens it and the two parts click stop when aligned.
Wake up and smell the Kafka!!!
