First off, questioning the decision of a moderator is a bad idea. Second, do not pick locks you rely on. You will damage them. Third, the discussion of automotive locks is not allowed in the public area.

There are just certain types of locks out there that protect somethings that are far more valuable than most of us encounter everyday. Out of respect for such end users and respect for what those locks stand for we generally agree that such discussions should not be made too easily available to the general public.

And besides, there are subjects even in the advanced forums that are often kept secret there too.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

I'm working on a couple of articles, so I'll be up for a while. Feel free to PM me, as I've previously suggested, to discuss this further. If you can't figure out why our rules are in place, you can find somewhere else to be.

I was polite to you, and I still do hope that maybe you just missed a beat here. It's obvious that you didn't take the time to read about the rules of the site, hence several of our members having to make you aware of them.

Looking forward to your next post.
