I believe it has been covered on site that gun locks are not for discussion. They are for securing arms. They may be very easy to pick but opening them and videos showing how to open them really should not be posted here.

Sorry.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

well I saw that video and it is my opinion that if a child can open it with light knowledge I think the man here has a serious point?

Teaching young children that gun locks are toys is incredibly irresponsible.

If you want to demonstrate that there's a problem with gun locks, that's fine... but have the discussion with people old enough to have the responsibility to actually handle the guns.

Thats a very arrogant thing to say to one of the admins of this site. Teaching young kids to pick trigger locks may be fun for some people, but it's also very irresponsible.

On the Video: TSA luggage locks aren't very hard to pick in the first place. At least, the ones I had only kept me entertained for 10 minutes. Though I didn't realize that you could make a one-key-fits-all for them. Thanks for the info and Vid!

On the Gun locks/post editing: Guns are locked for a reason. Admins and Mods can edit posts for a reason. If you can't guess the reasons, you shouldn't be on the internet.
