Pin's keep Falling down - What am I doing wrong?

Postby SkullZoRz » 15 Aug 2004 9:16

Everytime I pick a pin, it falls down again. So how do I make them stay?
Becouse it's hard to pick a 4-pin lock when all the locks keeps to falling
back again.

Depends what you mean by falling down. If you sucessfuly have picked a pin, the bottom pin should fall down back to its normal position, while the top pin is caught on the shear line. If you haven't picked a pin all the way, then the pin will be forced down by the top pin and the spring. if you can push the pin back up again with almost no resistance, then you've probably picked that pin sucessfuly. If it feels like you're pushing against a spring, then keep trying.

Sounds to me like the problem is incorrect pin selection, you have to find the binding pin
The best lock pick is C4 followed by a sledge Hammer
