I though I would pass this along: several times while picking a Kwikset cylinder I have found that the lock did not open after single pin picking. After lightly touching each pin stack, the lock opened. I think that some of the pins, which are slightly beveled, caught on the bevel as the other pins were set, and touching these stacks reset the pins, allowing the lock to open.

You're right hda7, sometimes gently brushing the pins is the last step to open a lock with all set pins and the plug still locked
