So i haven't had time recently to pick recently for several weeks and i just picked up a pick and tension wrench and started again today. And i just found that it's easier now after the extended break i took from it. My sense of feel has improved without practice. Is this normal for people cuz it seems strange to me......  No complaints though

It could be that over the period of time that you weren't practicing you were still learning vast amounts of knowledge about picking. And thus you can make more sense of the feedback your fingers are giving you.
Otherwise, no that's not normal.
