The difference is the profile. Interesting how the cisa blanks are coded with ABU, I've seen Cisa with abus c83 profiles though so maybe they're made by the same company.

I'd say the astral and astral s would be susceptible to foil impressioning, there are extra dimples for key control but it's a passive element.

Youre quite rigth - the abus C83 cylinders were made by cisa - you can tell from the distinctive design of the 1109 cylinders, and the spacings and depths are the same. Every now and them we'd get a small 1109 cylinder by mistake, which would pass right through the supplied rose, but fitted perfectly into the rose supplied with the 1109's in CISA L9666 and L9667 rim locks.
