I have a brinks shrouded padlock, at first it gave me so much trouble, then I made a special pick and opened it, later I made more special picks and found that some worked and others didn't, I just kept picking the thing, it became the only practice lock I was using, I have picked it hundreds of times, and now I can do it with just about any pick from my pocket, I did put a drop of 3in1 oil in it, but the real deal is that you need light tension, and you need to learn to let the spools push your tensor in reverse,(much more reverse than other spools I have fought) there are possibly as many as 4 spools in there, but some of them set without showing you what they are, so you might think it has only one or two at first. the real key is the light, light, soft tension, when you get this, it becomes quite easy. Mine dosent say r70, just says brinks, plated with shiny metal, both shackle legs are shrouded.
