Hey guyes i just want some ideas, on what i can use to cut hacksaw blades. IM making a new set but i dont have a grinder so i dont know what i can ues to cut them? can you help?

You will be spending a long time with a set of files. Unless you can get hold of a Dremel or other rotary tool.

Also, I don't remember what these things are called, but you can get an abrasive "blade" for a hacksaw. That will cut your regular hacksaw blades if you can find one. I have several of the things, but I can't remember what they are called.

If you have an angle grinder you could put that in the vice with one of those very thin cutting wheels to really get some accuracy. Just be careful you dont slip and push your hand through it. Other than that, probably files are the only way to go.

I think the "blade" that Romstar is referring to is manufactured by Remington here in the U.S. and is generally called a "rod saw". The actual name is REMGRIT. It could work, but will be difficult to use very accurately since the "grit' is quite course.

Nope, both of you hit the nail on the head. Hojo even got a picture. Mine aren't made by Remington though, and when I was in the shop tonight I noticed that I have a few different grits.

Those things are bloody great for a variety of things.
