I don't have any picking kits, just wondering if anyone could help me pick it with things around the house.

Welcome to the boards,

First of all, I must ask you to please fill out your profile so that we know where you are and what level you are at with lock picking. I'm sorry to say that I can't help you with this lock, mostly because I have never heard of it before! That being said, is there any way you could post pics or other information about this lock in the thread? Is this a UK specific lock or what? Keep us posted with your progress!

It's just a normal door lock that uses a key to lock the handle. I live in the US, so it's not a UK lock. I am absolutely new to this. I haven't had time to read through guides yet. I will add to my profile.

Ahh, well take your time and enjoy. It sounds to me like you need to get into this lock in a hurry, any reason why? Keep us posted with the info, thanks!

Just before anyone else jumps in with this if u want things to use to pick a lock read the MIT guide to lock picking (tis on this forum somewhere) and generally experiment with different objects as everyone is different.

I really doubt your request will be magically fufilled. First, picking any lock requires a great deal of skill. Its highly unlikely that we will be able to help you unless you read the MIT guide and at the least the FAQ for this site.

theres also the fact that we have no idea who you are, we have no proof you own this lock and by the sounds of it, you need in quickly, the best option is to call a locksmith.

if you're just learning to pick, read the MIT guide, read the FAQ's and stickies and search for homemade picks or mc guyver picks to find things to use to pick, or just buy a real set. then get yourself a lock like a kwikset, its cheap, reasonably easy to pick, can be taken apart to aid learning and possibly the two most important factors, its not relied on for anything (since locks picked a lot tend to get destroyed, especially when you start out) and it belongs to you. if we were to explain how to pick a lock and you broke into oyur neighbours house, we'd be in trouble, so legal right to pick is important!

if you're getting into picking, welcome to the forums, have fun and good luck!

if you're just looking for a cheap way in, im sorry, you're probably out of luck, for one thing picking isnt easy, it takes a lot of practise! the best thing to do is call a locky.

hopefully i've added something useful and helped you a bit Bahamut :)
