Don't worry lockstock, things will work themselves out. The rules on LP101 are there for a reason, and we must always remember that this site is OWNED by someone else. Ultimately it is their call. I'm just waiting for Mr. Picks' blessing.

Any additional suggestions that people have are always welcome, as I am still aiming to have full production ready by the end of the month.

I don't know if you're still accepting design suggestions, or if production has already begun, but here's a thought. I find using a torque wrench through the keychain hole of the bumpkey provides more turn accuracy and takes unneeded impact off the fingers. For this, I use a long, very thin screw driver.

How would you feel about including a 5-7" length of round steal with the KEbump? A short 90° bend at the end makes it easier to keep in the key when using one hand to control it. It could snap into the KEbump if designed with two clips to insert the rod. Since such a small lengthy tool could easily get lost in a toolbox, having a way to secure it to the KEbump would be handy.

@ $59.99 retail total package, or make yer own? Selling bump key sets would seem very desirable....to me at least....or make yer own, which most people can't, it seems.

Yes, I'd highly recommend selling keys with it. Especially keyways that aren't readily available from the local walmart/hardware stores, i.e. anything other than KW1, SC1, and M1, like, say, Russwin, Corbin, Best, Falcon, Sargent, Abus, Yale (you'd be surprised how many places can't copy Y1's, at least I know Home Depot didn't have it when I asked), etc.

If you ask me, what's needed is not an L-bent rod, but a hook-bent one. Stays in better.

Actually, what's needed is really some other method that works better than sticking something in the keyhole altogether. It's just not very precise no matter how you do it.
