If you have poor bandwidth here is a brief explanation:
A power key aka Bump Key is a key where the bitting has been cut to the lowest standard depths. A KW1 Bump key would be 77777, as 7 is the lowest kwikset depth. There is also usually .5mm filed off the shoulder of the key, and the same off the tip. The key is inserted, and then the key is tapped with an object with tension applied to it. It works off the same principle as a snap gun the top pins jump, and the bottom pins stay. The other method does not have the filing to the shoulder, and tip. With that one they insert the key all but the last cut, and then hit it in the lock, and turn quickly. The second method I have described takes more skill, and risks damaging the lock.
