Be careful, sometimes lockies will get thier panties in a knot if you ask them to make a bump key.

Just ask for whatever key form you want cut to the deepest cuts for that lock, his machine will tell him the rest or if its a manual or semi auto machine his paper work will.

 Thanks for the offer but i think postage to the uk would cripple you and also we have differant locks.
For that very reason i cant help on locks either but if your mates with him just ask what the most commong keys he cuts are and get them, he wont stock keys that he doesnt sell much of at all, the racks that have loads of the same blanks on are the ones you should be getting.

Is it for business? if so just look around at what you want in the local shops and on places, if its for hobbying just get ones for the locks you have.

Dumb questions are only dumb if youve asked and been told the answers before a few times, if you dont the answers they arent dumb.

I step aside then and let those that know the us market answer.

Hey even if you clean the toilet and brush the floor you get a repotoir (sp?) built up and any trust there is improved on.

Offer to clean his windows, brush his floors, restock the shelves, wash his van etc etc it all puts you good in his eyes.

There will soon become times when its 'im off out on a call, ;look after the shop for 20 mins' then your in.
