I have made a tomahawk type tool out of 2 12" metal rulers and part of a rubber mallet. Here are a couple of pics.

I just tried it again and it is working.
You have to click on the "Click here to download file" in the middle of the page.

Hopefully, tomorrow, I will be able to upload it to my filefront account. I like it better. :(

I think it may have been a local network problem, and the start page was cached but the download item was not. It is working now.

Nice work Robert,

I did get the idea from you. :D I didn't have a rollerblade break though, so I used part of my rubber mallet. I also used longer rulers, so i had to put 2 of them together to stiffen it up a bit.

This is my version of "ThE_MasteR Hammer" :D

Seems like quite a bit more striking force is used compared to when I bump a lock. It also appears that you have cut away more of the shoulder of your bumpkey. I also use a slightly different technique of applying a small amount of tension to the blank all the way through the bumping process. If the lock does not open with the first strike, I release tension letting the pins fall and repeat the process. I will try your techniques and report back in this thread, please try mine and report your findings here.

Also please let us know the brand of lock you were bumping. It appeared to be a kwikset, but the video was dark and I could not be sure.

Thanks for the video ! These are welcome additions to the site. I would like to add this to my website if you do not mind to be archived for other lp101 users in the future. Please let me know if this is ok with you.
