If you are reading this you probably need help fixing an old lock or installing a new one. Although most of this forum is for hobby lock pickers who like to pick locks because they enjoy solving a complicated mechanical puzzle, we occasionally get questions from the public asking for help with a stuck lock, missing instructions, or how to install a lock onto a particular door or frame.
*Please note, we cannot help with automotive ignition repair/removal in this area. This Old Lock is intended for home and business owners having trouble with a door lock, not a car lock* Please post your questions here, provide as much detail with what you have already done during the installation of your new lock, or any attempts you have made at taking apart and fixing your old lock.

http://imgur.com/ and then Copy/Paste the link to the file.jpg into your post. If you took the photo with your phone it will probably be 3000x3000 pixels, so please use the Imgur Edit button to resize the pic to 800x600 so it fits on the forum and doesn't cut off.
