Very Old Prison lock can you identify?

Postby shammon » 26 Jun 2014 18:18

.

Ive been collecting prison locks for a short time and came across this one. I think its an early Charles Smiths one before his sons joined the buisness, so its from before 1835 it has "Smiths" on the metal bolt bar on the end stamped.
Sadly no key so will have to make one to fit.

Any info welcome thanks.
