Pulling a lever handle knob

Postby Code-7 » 18 Dec 2014 22:11

Question: The HPC key out of knob lever handle remover works great when the pinhole release is located on the side of the post which is opposite the lever. But it is not designed to pull lever handles that have the pinhole release on the same side of the post as the lever (ie. under the lever). Is there a tool out there that will pull lever handle knobs, which have the pinhole release on the other side?

Don't think I've ever seen a lever with a push in retainer on the same side as the lever. Then again, I'm old and forgetful.

What brand specifically are you talking about?

remember folks, pulling knobs is bordering on destructive entry and we do not talk about those topics outside the Advanced areas...

please keep that in mind,
