Exploded view diagram of Allgood 71 series mortice locks

Postby fuzzy » 23 Feb 2015 11:57

Hi all, newbie here.

I am a caretaker at a school in the UK and one of our locks had a sticking problem. On removing the case from the door and opening the case cover, a loose component was apparent. At the same time, other components escaped!

Is there an online resource with exploded view diagrams of various lock cases that would assist me in sorting out what goes where so I can rescue this particular lock? I did a quick and dirty search using various search terms but the best I could find was diagrams of the lock exterior with dimensions.

Thanks,

fuzzy.

Hi fuzzy have you tried contacting them directly, they're UK based as well in London, brum, manchester and Essex, they'll be the best bet to get a diagram if there is one, failing that, buy a new one, take it apart carefully and see where it takes you. Good luck fella.
"What if this wasn't a rhetorical question?"
