Schlage F Series Lever

How can i remove cylinder from locked schlage F series Lever that i cant pick or bump? Need to re-key it.

The next step would be considered destructive, and since you've been here since 2009, you probably know we don't talk about destructive entry outside of the Advanced sub forums.

The only thing I can suggest is... is there any way to get to the latch and pop the door open? Once you do that you should be able to get to the other side and start taking the lock off the door. Unless its the kind where the screws are under the rose on the keyed side.

I'll leave this open but no destructive or bypass tool advice please.

Problem is You'll need to actually turn the cylinder, in order to depress the retainer & without the key that will require either drilling or knocking the pins out, so it will turn

Thanks i was hoping there was a way i didn't know like taking it apart from the inside or something.

The "F" series is put together so it only comes apart once, from the inside

There is a way that billdeserthills subtly included in his post. Why don't you re-read it and then Google "Schlage floating bible" to see if you can't figure out what he was suggesting?
