CompX Fort Lock 54G depth measurements?

I am looking for key depth measurements for the 54G keyway. I have scoured the Internet with no luck. I had a locksmith on eBay tell me he would cut me depth keys for this keyway depths 1-5. The problem I am finding, is that when I measured some of the 54G keys I had laying around, I was reading about 6 or 7 cuts; not five.

These measurements are base to cut:
I found that the deepest cut was at 0.180" and that it went in increments of 0.01" until it reached Cut 0 at 0.250". Of the 8 keys I measured, I never found one to be cut at .240".


Can anyone say for sure that there are only 5 depths, and maybe what the depths are?

My caliper is not very accurate, so I would like some feedback.

1 = .250
2 = .235
3 = .220
4 = .205
5 = .190

I think they only generally use 1, 3 & 5

For example the 311 code shown is 53133
