Anyone ever take apart a Locinox double sided gate lock? I got it apart far enough to reset the combo on both sides. But, the handles and internal mechanism are still very hard to open due to an accumulation of dirt. I got them working but I am not happy with that level of functionality. This has been outside on a gate for at least 10 years. The key locks on both sides have never been used and are so dirty I doubt they will be easily pickable. All tech support will tell me is not to take it any further apart as " there are too many springs and parts inside". They told me that if it is not working that it must be replaced. Sorry, no pictures.

At almost $500, I see why they would like you to buy a new one. Couple YouTube Videos may help. Good Luck

None of the videos were any more specific.
Yep. I've about decided that the handles have to come off first. I started them soaking in PBBlaster because the set screw is so rusted I cant turn it. Then the cylinder must be picked or drilled to turn the cam into line so the cylinder can slip out. That one video showed the cylinder to be only a 4-pin lock. Perhaps then the body of the lock will come out of the case. When it quits working again I will get another chance to look at it.
Trouble is that they demand it be working, don't want to pay for a new one right now, and don't want to use a chain and padlock. And, they can't leave the gate open while I take it off to soak in mud cleaner for a couple of days. ????
Thanks for the comment.

https://www.amazon.com/2835SN-Mechanica ... 5802&psc=1The above works pretty good, alot less, could be a permanant or temporary fix, while fixing the other. Have 2 sets in the field, Saltwater environment. Hanging in there. Not sure how Secure you need, Camera monitoring Door? Blaster is my choice as well, may be others better. It's one I know that works

The Vinci is a different beast altogether. Those Codelocks are always trouble. We are constantly getting calls to repair them. Amazingly heavy though.
