Old Cedar Chest

Postby Balamar » 28 Mar 2020 19:26

I have an old cedar chest with a top and bottom lock. The bottom lock is working fine, but the button will not push in on the top lock and I do not have a key. The button was pushing in and activating the latch just fine yesterday, but now will not. Any advice on how to open this chest? Thanks.

Those locks have to be turned to lock or unlock. Press down on the top to take any pressure off the lock before and while you press in the button. Only release the pressure if the button goes in.
