Just joined and this post is my second one.
My grandfather was a realtor in Detroit, MI many years ago. When we cleaned out his house, we found two padlocks without keys that we would like to use again in his memory.
This post is for a Yale / Yale & Towne padlock.
Text on the front of the lock:
YALE
MADE IN U.S.A.
YALE & TOWNE
MGG. CO.
Text on top of the lock:
HIGH GRADE
PIN TUMBLE
No text on bottom or sides.

A local locksmith was able to get the lock opened and provide a blank key (says Y1 on it) but not able to cut a key from scratch.
The goal is to get two working keys made. Thanks in advance for any and all guidance.
