Cabinet Lock / Key Blank ID

Hi guys, we have four old parts cabinets in the shop that the owner bought used twenty years ago. They're unlocked, but if he ever had the keys he doesn't have them now. We've decided to start locking up some of the parts and supplies. My plan is to re-key the locks that are already installed on the cabinets, but I do not know which keyblanks to order.

A 'Y11' blank will fit the keyway, but it falls just short of the sixth wafer. I believe that cutting back the blank's shoulder would solve that problem; however, it would be nice to learn the correct blank for the job. Any suggestions?

Is there a code stamped on the lock cylinder anywhere? I doesn't look like there is from the picture but it also doesn't hurt to double check. Also is there any brand name on the cabinets at all?

No numbers, or other identifiers, anywhere that I can see on the locks and cabinets.

Memory; it is a fairly common key.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks again cledry. I picked up the L1054G blanks on my way to work this morning and they were exactly what I needed.

I impressioned the lock, filed my key, and it couldn't turn any smoother. As an added bonus, the other four cabinets were keyed alike, so I only had to impression one key.

Of course, my craftsmanship should be called into question by the fact that my six wafer plug is being turned by a five cut key. What the hell, it still feels good to know that four perfectly good locks didn't wind up on the scrap heap because I was to lazy to make a key. Even if one of those cuts turned out to be a double wide, I'll do better next time.
