Vintage trunk lock

Hey,

Just got this trunk, but a piece of it is locked. Tried twirling a bent bobby pin around inside with no luck, but I've never done that before anyway.

What type of lock is this? What is the mechanism inside that I'm working with? How do i make this thing open???

Do you have another picture? I am not going to log into Facebook just to see your picture. I have a personal problem with them selling every piece of information they can get, so I very rarely use my FB account.

That appears to be a two lever flat steel key lock & it would (probably) be very difficult for you to open with no prior knowledge of how these operate, especially with paper clips and such. Check around your area for a established locksmith with a retail location & they most likely will "impression" a flat steel key for you.
