Old Yale and Towne padlock. Date of manufacturing?

Howdy fellow pickers! Playing around and picking my old Yale and Towne padlock today and I was wondering if anyone happens to know how old this lock might be? Also I do not believe there is anyway to remove the core and do some cleaning in there, am I correct or is there a secret here?

Reason: The [image] tag doesnt work if you just link to the imgur album, the link has to be direct link to the exact graphics file, ending in common names such as .gif, .jpg, .png, .bmp etc

You should be able to unscrew the "nut" once the shackle is open. Look for a very good thread about that padlock that, if I remember correctly, was written by our GWiens2001.

Cheers :)
